Lucify has produced an interactive map whose data has been extrapolated from the UN figures on the migration crisis that has blighted Europe over the last five years.

It clearly shows that the majority of the migration is from the North African/Middle Eastern area.
I fully accept that people seeking refuge from civil war in their own country is a justified reason to leave. However, the Dublin Agreement states that anybody applying for asylum should do so in the first designated "safe" country they enter. This map shows that the majority of the northern European countries are being targeted because many "safe" countries are transited through to get to the target destination.
The UN is proving more and more that it has become a "toothless tiger" and is quick to condemn the EU and specific countries for their lack of a unified response to the problem. However, they have no power to enforce the supposed international laws that were put in place after the Second World War.
Human Rights lawyers are quick to cite international law when it reinforces the claim of their client (the same client who is able to receive legal aid from a country they have not lived in or contributed to). But they seem incapable of understanding the moral right of a sovereign country to defend itself and its citizens.
